Diabetes Education Program

The Tséhootsooí Medical Center Diabetes Program, alongside Nahata’Dzill Health Center, is committed to helping you gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive with diabetes.

We provide guidance and counseling to patients diagnosed with diabetes or at an increased risk of diabetes. We also work with your provider and the interdisciplinary care team to provide you with quality care. Our program is accredited by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists.


  • One-on-one outpatient education & counseling
  • Group classes (limited due to COVID-19)
  • Inpatient education & counseling

  • Meter trouble shooting (battery, error codes)
  • Referrals to other departments requires provider’s consent
