TCS Referral Process
All patients must have an established health record number - all encounters are documented in the patient’s electronic health records
- Patient requests for TCS service to their medical provider and a referral is started.
- Patient and family consults for TCS service - A traditional Assessment is conducted and a traditional treatment plan is determined for the patient.
- An appointment is scheduled with TCS for traditional services.
- Traditional Healing Interventions begins.
- Traditional Service Patient Plan — After Care
TCS Services NOT OFFERED at FDIHB
- No overnight traditional ceremonies
- No traditional diagnosing
- No blackening ceremonies
- Not a part of patient’s treatment plan
- Traditional services without the patient’s consent
