  • Crowns, bridges, partials and dentures (for qualifying patients within the Fort Defiance and Nahata’Dziilservice unit).

Policies

  • Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to provide informed consent before any dental treatment will be rendered. Other persons (including older brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc) are only considered to be the guardian of the minor when they have presented legal documents to that effect which are filed in the patient’s medical record by patient registration staff.
  • For safety reasons, children may not accompany a patient into the clinic for the purpose of "babysitting" during the treatment of the patient. Dental staff are not permitted to provide child care. If the patient is not able to leave the children in the waiting room (where they must be supervised by an adult, other than a member of the dental staff), then the appointment will be cancelled and the patient will be requested to make other arrangements for the children before the appointment will be rescheduled.
