Health Promotion/Disease Prevention (HP/DP) – SPIP Grant Program would like to announce their upcoming Suicide Prevention gatekeeper trainings. Four trainings provided to community members that will empower participants to recognize signs/symptoms and provide mental and emotional support for individuals in crisis. Anyone, regardless of background or experience, can learn these skills to keep someone safe and alive.

Free training to anyone: Teacher and school staff, Healthcare providers, Law Enforcement, Social Services, Adults working with Youth & Community members

2026 Training Dates

ASIST - January 29 & 30, 2026 | 8:30 am – 5:00pm

QPR – February 11, 2026 | 8:30 am – 10:00 am

YMHFA – March 5, 2026 | 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Pre-Registration Required)

safeTALK – March 18, 2026 | 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
