Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) May 13
Health Promotion/Disease Prevention is offering free suicide prevention training. May 13th is a QPR training and June 11th is a safeTALK training, both at the Nihi Dine'e Ba Wellness Center in Fort Defiance, AZ.
Health Promotion/Disease Prevention (HP/DP) – SPIP Grant Program announces upcoming Suicide Prevention gatekeeper trainings. Four training sessions will be provided to community members, empowering participants to recognize signs/symptoms and to provide mental and emotional support to individuals in crisis. Anyone, regardless of background or experience, can learn these skills to keep someone safe and alive.
Free training to anyone: Teachers and school staff, Healthcare providers, Law Enforcement, Social Services, Adults working with Youth & Community members
