Health Promotion/Disease Prevention is offering free suicide prevention training. October 21st is safeTALK; November 13th is Youth Mental Health First Aid, and December 13th is Adult Mental Health First Aid.

Health Promotion/Disease Prevention (HP/DP) – SPIP Grant Program announcing upcoming Suicide Prevention and Mental Health trainings. Trainings provided to community members that will empower participants to recognize signs/symptoms and provide mental and emotional support for individuals in crisis. Anyone, regardless of background or experience, can learn these skills to keep someone safe and alive.
Free training to anyone: Teacher and school staff, Healthcare providers, Law Enforcement, Social Services, Adults working with Youth & Community members
