ASIST Training
The Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (HPDP) Program is offering an ASIST training October 2nd-3rd from 8:30am to 5pm at the Nihi Dine'é Ba Wellness Center.

The Health Promotion/Disease Prevention program will be hosting monthly suicide prevention trainings from September to December 2025. The training will educate participants to recognize suicide signs/symptoms and provide mental and emotional support for individuals in crisis. Anyone, regardless of background or experience, can learn these skills to keep someone safe and alive. Training Dates:
⭐ safeTALK: September 10, 2025 | 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
⭐ ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training): October 2 & 3, 2025 | 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
⭐ QPR (Question, Persuade Refer): November 12, 2025 | 8:30 am – 10:00 am
⭐ safeTALK – December 10, 2025 | 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
